IMPACT Wrestling announced that Kazuchika Okada will be part of the post-TNA Hard To Kill 2024: TNA Snake Eyes television tapings, for January 14 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Okada was already part of TNA during 2010 and 2011, where he participated in 19 matches for the company's weekly programs at that time: IMPACT! and TNA Xplosion. He only achieved two wins: one in 2010 under the name "Okada" against Kid Kash in a Dark Match and in 2011 under the pseudonym "Okato" against D'Angelo Dinero.
Okada will become a free agent on January 31 as reported by journalists Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated and Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, so TNA Hard To Kill could be the Japanese's last PPV under contract with NJPW. It must be remembered that both companies have an alliance for various shows.
According to these reports, Okada's current contract will expire at the end of January. If he does not renew, the fighter would have free rein to negotiate with any other company.
Okada has been working for NJPW since 2007, where he has won almost a dozen championships, including five IWGP Heavyweight Championships and two IWGP World Heavyweight Championships.
